Bonus Ep. 13: Summertime Special - The Judy Garland Show
Nick and Dani take the opportunity to discuss the work of Judy Garland.
In this episode Nick and Dani record in person. We talk about the career and life of Judy Garland, make reference to Jimmy Stewart, and we try really hard to not be cynical. There is also a few references to 'Goodfellas' (it makes sense, trust us).
The films we discuss include:
- 'Meet Me In St. Louis' (1944), directed by Vincente Minnelli, starring Judy Garland, Mary Astor and Leon Ames
- 'In The Good Old Summertime' (1949), directed by Robert Z. Leonard, starring Judy Garland and Van Johnson
- 'A Star Is Born' (1954), directed by George Cukor, starring Judy Garland and James Mason
